Whether you're a beginner playing your first competition round or a scratch marker looking to test your course management, our competition days provide a fun, challenging and rewarding experience. Open to golfers of all abilities with a current GA handicap, Maleny Golf Club welcomes you to come and challenge yourself on one of the most scenic courses on the Sunshine Coast. With superb greens, rolling fairways, and breathtaking views at every turn, this is more than just a round—it's a true golfing experience.

We hold 18 hole competitions of various formats every Wednesday and Saturday. Click here to see the fixtures book for a list of what's coming up.

Additionally, every Friday we hold a 9 hole stableford competition, sponsored by RE/MAX Hinterland, known as the RE/MAX Rumble. With prizes of $100, $50 and $25 for first, second and third place respectively along with a hole-in-one jackpot ($1000 at time of writing), this fun outing is not to be missed.

Our other major regular competition of note is the Radicool Mountain Challenge. Held in conjunction with our member's monthly medal, but open to visitors with a GA handicap, this year long series culminates with the first, second and third place getters of each monthly event playing off to win a Maleny golf club membership valued at $1150.
