Breaking News: Golf Australia have now nominated Rob for the AIS Sports Performance Awards in the Sport Volunteer of the Year category. The category recognises outstanding contribution to a sporting organisation, club, team, or program over the past year for the good of their organisation, sport, and community, and without financial gain.

Congratulations go to our Greens Director and club stalwart Rob Bailo who has been recognised for his tireless efforts and support with a 2023 Queensland Golf Industry Volunteer of the Year Award.
Rob has been a Foundation member of the Club since 2001 and has served as a member of the Management Committee (now Board) since 2013.
Rob has served as Greens Director over most of the Club’s existence and he is one of two Life Members of the Club.
Maleny Golf Club was also a finalist for Club of the Year Award while Mick McCombe was a finalist for Superintendent of the Year and Vice President Dr Max Whitten was a finalist for the Board Member of the Year.
